With the explosion of daily deal sites offering a local, non-local & online deals, we saw an opportunity in the Jefferson/Shelby County areas to offer consumers/businesses a more personal type of deal. In January 2012, the idea of Thriftylicious.com was born with our first deal hitting the web in April. There is such a strong small business environment in Jefferson and Shelby Counties, we saw a win win situation for both the businesses and customers alike. At Thriftylicious.com we make saving money look good, so we offer deals from businesses who we have tried and we know have a quality product or service. If we would not buy it again we don’t want to offer it to you either. We want your experience with Thriftylicious.com to become an addiction, so we will be up front about the experience and provide the best information that we can on each business. We aren’t in the market of knocking our competitors We are just looking to provide our subscribers with great deals and provide our businesses with an extremely cost-effective promotional tool .
What sets us apart:
Social Media – The large sites have it – but don’t focus on it. The local sites don’t have it. We know that social media is the most effective tool in marketing to the perfect demographic. We plan on offering giveaways, promoting the deals, providing coupons and interacting with our social media crowd!
Coupons, Advertising Opportunities – We realize that not all businesses can get on board the daily deal train. Some simply can’t afford to offer the discount – some don’t offer the right type of product or service. Why can’t these companies take advantage of the exposure we can provide? The answer is that they can! We will soon be offer ing directory listing, coupon space on our emails, coupon space on our website and Facebook/Twitter giveaways – all excellent promotional tools at an unbeatable cost!

A photographer sees the world from behind the lens of a camera. For Me, the entire world is in shades of black and white or sepia. I appreciate the beauty that surrounds me, because anything that we see during the normal course of our day and which, we tend to ignore can be transformed into he most beautiful pictures. I have the experience conducting outdoor photo shoots as well as model portfolios.

How did you get started in photography?
For me, it honestly started off as a hobby..I remember my first point and shoot camera. I just wanted to learn how to use it. Then the interest grew, and I found myself studying magazine covers, and spending several hours a day researching different techniques and tricks in photography. From there, it really grew into a passion where now it is all I think about when I am working, relaxing, and sleeping. I truly LOVE photography, and I am always trying to do outdo myself with each shoot.
