Old School makes a comeback!

If you need to get in touch with some good old school events make sure you keep your browsers to WhereIsOldSchool.com.  The Old School movement is planning to bring you a series of old school events and concerts designed to bring a crowd of homebodies back out on the scene and back to yesteryear!

To kick off the series the All Star Band will perform every Friday, starting May 7, 2010 at the H Bar in the Hotel Highland in the Five Points South Entertainment District.  Experience Karaoke like you never have before with a live band! Saturday, May 15, 2010 catch DJ Rahdu on the 1s and 2s on selected Saturday’s spinning an old school mix that will certainly make you sweat.  DJ Willie will kick off the summer with an Old School Happy hour which will include free wings from 6pm - 7pm and old school music until 10pm.  Kick off date for the Old School Happy Hour will be announced soon.  There are a few more old school plans in the mix which will no doubt deliver a great time for old school fans and followers.

Live Music Six Nights a Week @ The H Bar!

The H Bar in Five Points South is quickly becoming the hot spot with a capital “H” for live jazz and blues. The music menu now delivers live music six nights a week offering the best in grown folks fun and entertainment.

You can expect a diverse crowd of professionals that have no gripes about the drink and food prices.  The live music and H Bar decor brings a new level of excitement to Birmingham’s adult entertainment scene, excitement that many patrons suggest is something they have been missing.

The H Bar - A Cool Place to Be

The “H” Bar located inside of the Hotel Highland at Five Points South is a hot after work destination for Birmingham’s professional community.  The popular martini bar features live music five nights a week and now offers a great dining menu to accompany its great drinks and A plus entertainment.  On Tuesday and Thursday nights catch a small piece band serving up live Jazz provided by some of Birmingham’s most talented musicians.  On Wednesday night you can catch a pretty cool acoustic series which brings out a great crowd of young professionals and Friday and Saturday night a mix of jazz and blues makes a perfect weekend getaway for the 30 and over crowd looking for a great time.

B.O.S.S. Ultra Bar & Lounge, Birmingham’s new spot for the 30 and older crowd!

B.O.S.S. Ultra Bar and Lounge will have its Grand Opening Saturday September 12, 2009.  The night will feature the soulful sounds of Jaafar performing live as well as a combination of food, drink specials, R&B, soul music and jazz.
