Truman Scholarship Foundation hosts its inaugural Scholars’ Legacy Gala at Haven in Birmingham\, Alabama. \n\n\n\nDesigned as an elegant evening of purpose and celebration\, the event will bring together community leaders\, corporate partners\, and advocates who share a common goal — investing in the next generation of students across the Birmingham region. \n \n\n\n\nAn Evening of Purpose and Prestige \n\n\n\nThe night will begin with an exclusive VIP cocktail hour from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM\, followed by the main gala experience from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. \n\n\n\nGuests can expect a dynamic and engaging program\, including: \n\n\n\n\nLive entertainment featuring D Smooth\n\n\n\nHosting by Birmingham favorite Lady Woo\n\n\n\nA keynote address from Jefferson County District Attorney Danny Carr\n\n\n\n\nThe event blends sophistication with substance — creating a space where celebration meets community impact. \n\n\n\nA Legacy Rooted in Education and Access \n\n\n\nThe Naomi H. Truman Scholarship Foundation\, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and an instrumentality of the Housing Authority of the Birmingham District (HABD)\, has been changing lives since its founding in 2012. \n\n\n\nOriginally established as the HABD Scholarship Foundation\, the organization was renamed in 2018 to honor the legacy of Naomi H.
