Birmingham native, Valton Johnson has a multi-faceted background that encompasses a wealth of experience ranging from human resources, public speaking to voice overs and playwright. 

As a result of Johnson’s playwrighting of Welcome To Dundrill Heights, Johnson was awarded a contract to produce 6 episodes by an Atlanta-based network.

In addition to the Welcome to Dundrill Heights series, Johnson has also completed writing a children’s film set to come out 1st quarter of 2024.

Johnson has a Master’s Level Series in acting, modeling and voiceover from John Casablancas Agency.

Johnson also holds countless film and video editing camps for students in Birmingham and Jefferson County, training over 1,000 students in all things film.

This project which is part of the Nadyne G. Johnson Foundation includes its annual Dundrill Heights Spring Break Film Camp which promotes diversity and representation within the production, film, and entertainment industry.

During a dynamic week-long event underserved youth pursuing an interest in the production and film industry will experience growth and develop unique and creative voices and be encouraged to aspire to reach their goals and dreams.

Film campers will get a glimpse of the future of filmmaking and production from top leaders in the entertainment industry and gain a behind-the-scenes look at the industry from the perspective of experts in the field now.

The film camp project has become so popular that Johnson has plans to offer its film camp during the summer and long-range plans to expand nationwide.
