In 2017 NPR shared a great video about Housing Segregation and discussed the issue of a practice called Redlining. Through the practice of Race and Redlining Housing segregation led the way for many of the issues we see with today.

In 1968, Congress passed the Fair Housing Act that made it illegal to discriminate in housing. Gene Demby of NPR’s Code Switch explains why neighborhoods are still so segregated today.
