2025 stellar award win for PMJ’s “Amen” music video affirms vision for Birmingham-based film producer Kevin “Krispy” Key, owner & operator of media production company Moon Men DJs
Birmingham, AL — Cinematographer and media production genius, Kevin “Krispy” Key, who converted a downtown warehouse into the landmark media production studio, Moon Men DJS (MMDJS), is one of the city’s secret weapons behind Pastor Mike McClure Jr.’s 2025 Stellar Award-winning music video, “Amen.” The hit song, now up for a 2026 Grammy for Best Gospel Performance/Song, took home a 2025 Stellar Award for Music Video of the Year following a breakout creative collaboration between Pastor Mike Jr., Drae Rudolph, Tony Minifield, and Key, who was Director of Photography. Creatives are now looking even more confidently towards Moon Men DJs for 2026 projects currently in production.
Despite this defining moment, MMDJS’s company mission remains as resolute as it was when it opened its doors in 2015: to create a space in the Greater Birmingham area that provides Hollywood-level production to Birmingham’s creative community. Key, who also collaborated with Rudolph to film Birmingham entertainer and songstress Sherri Brown’s sizzling music video, “Can’t Keep,” is set to release several original projects in 2026, and wants Birmingham creatives to consider MMDJS as their go-to production studio.
“Winning a Stellar Award for filming Pastor Mike Jr.’s ‘Amen’ music video represents more than just recognition,” said Key, who remains humble over the opportunity Pastor Mike Jr., Drae Rudolph, and Tony Minifield entrusted to him. “This is a testament to the power of creative collaboration and the high-quality production work we bring to every project at Moon Men DJS. From our LED video wall technology to our cinema-grade equipment, every element comes together to create something truly special.”

Key’s extensive Hollywood production credits include Unhinged, Line of Duty, Embattled, and the original dark comedy, Miss Audition, currently streaming on The ROKU Channel and TUBI. Visionaries can schedule a studio visit at MMDJS by calling 205-565-8654 or emailing info@moonmenonline.com.
