Birmingham Pig Roast

The ¡HICA! Junior Board presents the inaugural Birmingham Pig Roast—an event that brings together Alabama’s passion for good barbecue and the rich Latino communities in Birmingham.

In Puerto Rico and other Latino cultures, a pig roast happens whenever there is a big celebration. Now, ¡HICA! is bringing that celebration to the Magic City. Join us for juicy, tender pulled pork, delicious sides, family-friendly entertainment and more. Plus, try the Lagerveza—a beer by Cahaba Brewing Company brewed just for the event. We’ll bring los lechones (those are the succulent pigs, ready to slow roast for hours). You bring your appetite. Welcome to our familia.
