The celebration kicks off on Saturday, September 5, with The Pre-Show Brunch, followed by an unforgettable evening of live music on Sunday, September 6, featuring acclaimed jazz guitarist Eric Essix with special guest Joey Sommerville.

Saturday’s festivities begin with The Pre-Show Brunch, taking place from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Carver Theatre.
Hosted by Joey Sommerville and Tiffani Davis, with music provided by DJ Maxx and Silver Reeves, the brunch is designed to bring together music lovers for an afternoon of great food, conversation and entertainment before Sunday’s concert.
Special guest Rosilyn Houston will also be part of the experience, making the brunch an ideal opportunity to meet fellow jazz enthusiasts and kick off the holiday weekend in style.

Eric Essix Headlines Sunday Night
The weekend continues on Sunday, September 6, as Birmingham’s own Eric Essix returns to the Carver Theatre stage for an evening of smooth jazz and exceptional musicianship.
Joining Essix is nationally recognized trumpeter Joey Sommerville, whose energetic performances have made him a favorite among contemporary jazz audiences across the country.
The evening begins with a 6:00 p.m. reception, followed by the concert at 7:00 p.m.
