Willie Davis III is a native of Birmingham, Alabama and a graduate of Holy Family Catholic High School. Mr. Davis holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Historic Talladega College in Talladega, Alabama. He has held several positions during his employment at The Dannon Project a nonprofit organization located in Birmingham serving youth and adults through multiple outreach programs and currently serves as CAPTE Program Director. He currently serves as the Board Chair at Birmingham Public Library Board and Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors for Birmingham Jefferson County Transit Authority. Mr. Davis has received multiple awards and recognitions for his exemplary spirit and dedication to the communities within the City of Birmingham. He is a lifelong resident of District 6 and a member of New Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church.
