BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Birmingham’s rich civil rights legacy will meet a celebration of community, connection and the future during “I Am 63: The Longest Table of Joy,” taking place Saturday, September 19, 2026, in Birmingham’s historic Civil Rights District.

Built around the theme “Embracing Birmingham’s Civil Rights Legacy, Thriving with the Joy of the Future,” the event invites participants to gather around the table, meet new people, share stories and celebrate Birmingham’s continued growth.
